The end is near for my time in New Orleans, but before I leave there are some very important things I must complete in order to give this place the goodbye it deserves. I’ve had many good times here with many amazing people, whom I will always remember fondly. Fue un placer coincidir en esta vida!
I may add to this list, but for now here are the highlights:
1. Drake concert – Feb. 25th!
2. The NOLA Art House (i.e. The Treehouse)
3. Hit up the Quarter, the Bywater, the 9th ward, Treme, etc and practice our picture taking skills –eat at random places for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner and buy a souvenir – extra points if we hit up all the Banksy’s
4. Go to Rock N’ Bowl and actually bowl (even though bowling is pretty lame)
5. Last day at the Fly with daiquiris – for old time’s sake
6. Stroll around City Park and NOMA
7. Last hurricane at Pato’s, Piano Bar, gay clubs or Jax– extra points if we get kicked out
8. Last Shakira video session at 1022 with Andre- extra points if we end up hitting the Boot, Palms, Phillips and convince them to make us Watermelon Mojitos – we must drink SoCo Lime shots and Jagger bombs –I also must steal another camel glass (I BROKE IT AGAIN!)– EXTRA EXTRA points if we see some random from our past, if we watch the sunrise or wake up in a random place (1022 couch does NOT count!)
9. Hit up Frenchman – eat some random food at Café Negril—dance at the Maison
10. Little Tokyo karaoke session, we can’t promise we won’t sing Benny and the Jets (again!)
11. Frosty’s Vietnamese greatness session, bad music included
12. Hit up crawfish in the West Bank – particularly Sal’s Seafood
13. Last Streetcar ride – extra points if we do a Streetcar Pub Crawl
